Our 1 st Class staff members are all certified professionals and our motto, "
Kids 1 st " says it all, we have their safety and interests in mind at all
times. Our program allows each child to obtain optimum health, balance, grace,
endurance, strength, flexibility and coordination abilities, and empower them
to aspire to the highest level of gymnastics. In addition, the mental
attributes that we will strive to develop are courage, confidence, positive
self-image, self-motivation, patience and goal setting.
All team sports require a certain level of standards, cooperation and teamwork.
Here at 1 st Class Gymnastics we expect the most out of our students. Our team
training program is very demanding and much is expected from our gymnasts. All
gymnasts will have the opportunity to advance at their own pace and will be
encouraged to compete. Advancement is based on the USAG guidelines and the
physical and mental ability of each student.
Competition - It is part of our daily lives. We strive to be the best we can be
in whatever we do. This competitive spirit, however, must be learned, nurtured
and developed. We are committed to fostering the spirit of competition among
our young gymnasts. Gymnasts must always remember to be respectful of teammates
as well as coaches and portray sportsmanship in competition by playing fair,
learning how to deal with failure, and winning graciously.
IMPORTANT REMINDER - Gymnastics excellence means becoming the best you can be
individually and their success is not measured by the trophies on the
wall, but by the gifts they receive on their path to personal fulfillment

The 1 st Class philosophy is simple. We strive to make
each child feel SPECIAL. Our goal is to offer each child the best professional
instruction, in a superior facility with state of the art equipment in a fun
filled environment. We offer "total Body" development in conjunction with
gymnastics skill acquisition. It's not just high scores but HIGHER LEARNING of
gymnastics. Our staff will treat each athlete's goals and aspirations
individually. Workout structure, training time, training loads, and intensity
can all be altered and adjusted to meet each child's needs. With this in mind,
please make note we will always run a structured, disciplined program as it is
our belief that gymnastics is too costly and far too dangerous to have training
be nothing more than glorified baby-sitting sessions.

Appearance is very important in the gym and at
competition. A gymnast must have their hair pulled back away from their face.
They must wear the appropriate leotards per this team manual. (Please see the
team equipment section). Good hygiene is also recommended, nails trimmed, etc.
At meets our gymnasts are not only representing themselves but also the team,
so it is very important to look their best at all times. A crisp clean and neat
appearance increases self confidence and gymnasts perform better when they feel
good about themselves.
